“Oda a la Muerte” Festival: A Gastronomic Tribute

“Oda a la Muerte” Festival: A Gastronomic Tribute

These dates mark a time when we honor those who are no longer with us, and what better way to do it than through gastronomy. At Ilios Greek Estiatorio, we have crafted a seasonal menu that merges the richness of our Greek roots with Mexican tradition, all with the aim of creating an “Oda a la Muerte”.

From October 15th to November 3rd, you can savor our “Oda a la Muerte” festival, where you’ll discover special seasonal delights with creative presentations and truly fascinating flavors.

Pan de Muerto:

Our exclusive Pan de Muerto is a masterpiece that pays tribute to this tradition. Crafted with butter, refined sugar, sweet orange, and marigold flowers (known in mexico as flor de cempasúchil) , and filled with Abuelita chocolate ganache, this dessert is a delicious representation of the season’s spirit. Every bite is a tribute to the memory of those who have passed.

Day of the Dead Cocktails:

To accompany this homage to our loved ones, we have created two exceptional beverages:

Xibalbá: Tequila Don Julio 70 is blended with spice syrup and a touch of marigold mix. This unique drink captures the essence of the season and will immerse you in a journey of flavors.

Mictlán: J.W. Gold Label whiskey is mixed with cacao liqueur, almond horchata, and adorned with a zest of Abuelita chocolate. Each sip will transport you to a world of delight.
