In the tumultuous years of Prohibition, the creation of classic cocktails flourished amidst clandestine and underground bars, defying the law with wit and creativity. In honor of that golden age of mixology, we are pleased to present from April 5th to 27th our Prohibition Week, a unique experience that will transport you from Ilios to the era of speakeasies. During this time, you can enjoy 3 classic cocktails in collaboration with Brown Forman, capturing the essence and flavor of those revolutionary times.
Discover Prohibition Classics
Boulevardier:
Transporting you to the streets of Paris in the 1920s, the Boulevardier is a captivating blend of Woodford Reserve, Campari, Martini Rosso Vermouth, and a touch of Angostura cocoa bitters. Created by Harry McElhone for “The Boulevardier” editor, this cocktail pays homage to the elegance and style of the era.
Old Fashioned:
Known as the cocktail that sparked the mixology revolution, the Old Fashioned boasts a rich history dating back to the Pendennis Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Our version combines Woodford Reserve with homemade pineapple syrup and a dash of Angostura Aromatic Bitters, for a truly classic and comforting experience.
Mint Julep:
Refreshing and aromatic, the Mint Julep is a Southern gem dating back to the 19th century. Inspired by Virginia’s old mint juleps, our version combines Woodford Reserve with homemade mango shrub and a dash of Angostura Aromatic Bitters, creating a cocktail that will delight your senses.
